How verification works
The verified badge is only worth what the bar is. Here’s the bar:
Trading name, premises address, phone, and your company and VAT numbers if you have them. Five minutes in the dealer portal.
Not a form-filler and not an algorithm — a person at Service Book checks the file, usually within two working days.
If anything looks thin we email you for proof — a lease or utility bill for the premises, or your trade credentials. No proof, no badge.
Approval turns on verified stamps, and your name and address are frozen into every one you issue. We revoke it for fraud, misrepresentation or ceasing to trade.
